The Great Yarmouth Geminii Majorettes were formed in September 1990  by brother and sister team, Kaye and Terry, with just 10 girls and  2 boys.

After just 2 months we did our first display to a crowd of well over 500 people at the Festival of Youth held at the Hippodrome Circus in Great Yarmouth.

At this time, none of our troupe had twirled before so it was a great acheivement for them.

A few years ago we started to do open competitions in suffolk but up until then we had been a display troupe. Competition was a real eye opener for the girls we had then because it made them realise what a wide variety of things were involved in majorettes.

We also joined the U.K.F.M. and did better than we ever dreamed was possible coming away with national champions from our  very  first national competition.

Since then the troupe has gone from strength to strength and we now feel that we have a very dedicated group of girls who work and play hard, but mainly have lots of fun.

We now have 2 branches of the troupe and train 3 nights a week between the 2. Our numbers have now just passed the 50 mark, and we are still recruiting more, making us one of the largest troupes in the area.
